It’s Back to School for Cameco's 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Since the program began, Cameco has awarded a total of $400,000 in scholarship support to 124 students from northern Saskatchewan.
Cameco congratulates to this year’s recipients of our Northern Saskatchewan Scholarship. From a large pool of over 150 applications, fourteen bright, young northerners were selected to receive scholarships for 2025. Students are all residents of Saskatchewan's north and their home locations span the region.
Half of the recipients are in their first year of post-secondary education and the remaining students are entering subsequent years. Several are in their last year of studies and Cameco is pleased to have provided this scholarship for their entire student experience. Studies being undertaken include trade careers, environmental sciences, engineering and business; focus areas for the mining industry.
