Vehicle Gate Pass for Northern Operations
Cameco's northern operations are licensed nuclear facilities. Therefore Cameco has carefully managed site access for safety and security reasons for many years. To streamline that process, we have developed a new online Vehicle Gate Pass form.
An approved Vehicle Gate Pass is required for any vehicular access (either to or through) our sites including:
- Cigar Lake Mine
- McArthur River Mine
- Key Lake Mill
- Rabbit Lake Mine
This process is to protect the safety of all who are at Cameco's sites and those who travel across them to other northern locations. As we always have, Cameco fully supports and acknowledges the traditional land rights of Saskatchewan's Indigenous people. Although this new online form is a change, those rights are not diminished in any way.

at least 24 hours before accessing one of Cameco's gates at the above operations.
