Cameco announces recipients of 2026 Northern Saskatchewan Scholarship

Cameco is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Northern Saskatchewan Scholarship.

Selected from a pool of more than 150 applicants, 13 students from communities across northern Saskatchewan have been awarded scholarships to support their post-secondary education. The recipients are pursuing studies in a variety of fields, including trades, environmental sciences, engineering and business.

The Northern Saskatchewan Scholarship recognizes and supports residents of Saskatchewan's north as they pursue technical and university education. Scholarships of up to $5,000 are available annually, helping students build the knowledge and skills needed for future careers.

Half of this year's recipients are beginning their post-secondary journey, while others are continuing their studies, including several students in their final year of education. Since the program began, Cameco has awarded $450,000 in scholarship support to 137 students from northern Saskatchewan.

Congratulations to this year's recipients, and best wishes for a successful academic year!
